1. Introduction

Douglas Legacy Group Pty Ltd ('the Company', 'we', 'us') is committed to delivering culturally respectful, ethical, and high-quality services to our clients, participants, and stakeholders. These Terms of Service outline your rights, responsibilities, and obligations when engaging with our services.

2. Scope of Services

Our services include but are not limited to:
- Disability and NDIS support
- Cultural mentoring and advocacy
- Personal development and community engagement
- Workshops and healing spaces such as yarning circles
All services are delivered under written agreements in accordance with applicable laws and best practice frameworks.

3. Engagement and Consent

Clients engaging with Douglas Legacy Group must provide clear and informed consent for the delivery of services. Consent will be obtained through signed agreements and ongoing communication. Participants retain the right to withdraw consent at any time, subject to service contract provisions.

4. Client Responsibilities

By engaging with us, clients agree to:
- Provide accurate information
- Treat staff and community with respect
- Respect confidentiality and cultural protocols
- Notify us promptly of any changes affecting their service
Misuse of services or breach of these responsibilities may result in review or termination of support.

5. Our Commitments

Douglas Legacy Group is committed to:
- Delivering services in a culturally appropriate and inclusive manner
- Maintaining confidentiality and protecting client privacy
- Responding promptly to feedback and concerns
- Upholding integrity, ethics, and transparency in all practices

6. Fees and Payments

All services are billed according to approved rates (including NDIS pricing where applicable). Payment details and terms are outlined in your individual service agreement. Any costs outside the agreement will be communicated and approved in advance.

7. Cancellations and Changes

Clients are required to provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations. Short-notice cancellations may incur fees in line with our cancellation policy or NDIS rules. The Company may reschedule services due to unforeseen circumstances or staff availability.

8. Privacy and Confidentiality

All personal and sensitive information is managed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Australian Privacy Principles. We will not disclose information without consent unless required by law or where there is a serious risk to health or safety.

9. Intellectual Property

All documents, materials, and content produced by Douglas Legacy Group remain the intellectual property of the Company unless otherwise stated. Clients and third parties may not copy, modify, or distribute such materials without prior written consent.

10. Complaints and Feedback

Clients are encouraged to provide feedback and raise concerns through our formal complaints process. We aim to resolve issues respectfully, promptly, and in line with our values and policies. Contact details for complaints will be provided in your service agreement.

11. Termination of Services

Douglas Legacy Group or the client may terminate services by giving notice in writing. Grounds for immediate termination include:
- Breach of these terms
- Unsafe behaviour toward staff or others
- Misuse of funds or supports
- Failure to comply with service conditions

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service. Clients will be notified of any significant changes via email or in writing.
